ADDP Dental Professional Relations Representatives
United Concordia maintains a field staff of Dental Professional Relations Representatives who are dedicated to assisting dentists and their staff in understanding the Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP). Professional Relations Representatives are available to answer policy questions, provide professional support, furnish information regarding the ADDP and assist with problems that require more than a telephone call or letter to our Customer Service Department. Although these representatives can usually resolve a question or concern by telephone, they also visit dental offices to provide in person support.
In addition to these field representatives, we have national professional relations team that will support the ADDP.
Dental Care Finders (DCF)
Our Dental Care Finders work closely with Dental Treatment Facilities (DTFs) to ensure that all active duty service members (ADSMs) have access to quality dental health care. They are also responsible for assisting ADSMs with obtaining needed dental care in order to ensure their dental readiness. This includes making appointments for ADSMs with network dentists (or non-network dentists when necessary).
It is also important to note that a DCF will maintain relationships with dental offices, so that appointments can be efficiently scheduled. Due to the DoD's appointment timeliness requirement, the DCF will monitor and track scheduled appointments for dental treatment until the actual referred services are rendered.
